Tools: Figma, Miro, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard
Project Type: Web Application
Timeline: 2 weeks
Focus: Information Architecture & Navigation Flow
🎯 Problem & Goal
Young adults often feel overwhelmed navigating career options, especially when combining education, job market trends, and personal interests. We needed to design a platform that would:
- Make career planning intuitive and personalized
- Centralize key resources: education, mentorship, and employment tools
- Use AI to offer tailored guidance and support
🧭 Solution: High-Level Sitemap
We developed a clear, scalable sitemap to support a user-centric platform. The structure focuses on 5 key experience zones:
- Profile & Settings: Personalization, achievements, saved items
- Education & Training: Access to degrees, certifications, scholarships
- Career Exploration: Career match tools, labor market insights
- AI Chatbot Guidance: Resume help, interview prep, personalized roadmaps
- Community & Events: Peer/mentor forums, webinars, networking
The homepage serves as a launchpad with intro content, sign-up/login, and a clear CTA to explore career paths.
🖼️ Visual: Sitemap

A clean, hierarchical view of all key platform sections—designed to prioritize usability, clarity, and future scalability.
📈 Impact & Next Steps
✅ Clear navigation logic supports both first-time users and returning learners
✅ Design accommodates AI integration and community features from day one
✅ Ready for wireframing, user testing, and content development phases
💡 Reflection
This project sharpened my ability to translate complex career ecosystems into simple, user-friendly information architecture. If expanded, I’d involve user interviews and card sorting to validate labeling and hierarchy.
